Blessed to have met you ♥
This past Friday was my best friends birthday! She turned 19 and also, Got ENGAGED. This is Oriana, and she is my best friend, we met our sophomore year while trhing out for soccer. Its pretty crazy how fast time is going by! Seems like yesterday we just met on the soccer field trying out for High school soccer, its so sad yet amazing to see how far we've come. She is an amazing person and I couldn't have been more thankful to have met her during high school, the most complicated years of my life, simply because of all the growing up and having to change to become a better person was a struggle (I was a bit of a rebel back then) but I'm glad to say that out of all the friendships I once had during high school, we'r still best friends til this day.
I couldn't see her on her actual birthday day but I did have the chance to hang out with her and some of her friends on the following saturday, it was honestly super fun and I was so so glad i went, i can't wait to do it again. We had a bonfire outside of Orianas house, while putting some music it was awesome to see some old friends and new ones, sitting there by the fire, I quietly said a prayer, a prayer to ask my heavenly Father to bless Oriana and everyone there, so that they can be blessed in their lives, just as Oriana and everyone I met that night had, I also prayed so that she would have the best fiancé for her and to really help me know that you're there to comfort and guide her when she needs it. I love Oriana, she has always been such a wonderful example for me, and I really hope the best for her when that special day (💍) is to come. Pray for your friends, family and let them feel our Heavenly Fathers love for them because it will help them go on as they go through life. I would know because like I said earlier, I was a little rebel when I was in high school, and thanks to those who have prayed for me, I then realized that I am not alone, all those times I felt like bad things happen to me, only happened to me because I needed to learn, I needed my weakness to become another strength. I'm really greatful to have Oriana as my best friend, because not only was she there when I needed someone to talk to, but she was there through it all, even when I was a bit stubborn sometimes, she had the patience to see past my weird personality and still be my friend.
Here's to the laughs we had, the boys we talked about, the times we went to McDonalds, the times when she took me home, you are an amazing friend, I couldn't and wouldn't ask for anyone else! ♥♥♥/ Karla
