my wisdom teeth recovery
To start, no I didn't do anything dumb/funny when I was woke up or when I got home, besides the fact that when I woke up I was laughing and signing a Jason Mraz song, I'm just not sure what one it was. Anyways, Its been about a week since I've gotten my wisdom teeth out, and I just wanted to share how it's going for me so far.
As I mentioned before it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it was actually went pretty quick, and no pain at all. (Weirdly) I took about all of the prescriptions that were given to me but most the time I didn't need them because, like I've said-- I didn't feel pain at all so I guess that's a good thing! right?
The second day after the surgery, some say that, it is the worst day, I COULDN'T SMILE! It was the worst, given that my family is a group of funny people thay make me laugh and smile every minute that we are at out family gatherings.
The second day was probably the worst day, I had the hardest time eating my chicken noodle soup because of the swelling. The next few days weren't as bad. A week later, it's been getting better, as much as I loved this whole recovery, I am able to eat hamburgers, some chicken and sandwiches, ect. and eat some Cheetos, (takes me about a good minute) I no longer stick to just soup and ice cream, I am slowly eating a lot more solid foods. Although it is kind of hard to eat them, it's still going pretty good and I feel like next week-- or even in the next two days, I'll be able to eat like normal again!
I currently do not feel any pain but all I can really feel would be the giant gaps where my teeth used to be :( but that's okay because that's what I want, it's what I needed to do, so I could have an opportunity to go on a mission!
I am still icing my right side on my face because my cheek swelling hasn't gone down. I would like to suggest too buy lots of different types of soup and slimy kinds of food such as yogurt, ice cream and fruit cups, but it has to be squished as if it were liquid, also lots and lots of water. Try not to bite on solid food yet until the fourth day because trust me it'll feel like heck. I'm just so glad I got this taken care of already. The end result is, now I have to go take care of getting a few fillings in my teeth and will definitely be done with going to the dentist! (For a little while) I have heard so many funny stories, a little mad that I don't have one to tell but in the end, all is well.
Do you have any stories on when you got your wisdom teeth removed? Whats the funniest thing you did? I would love to hear some more funny experiences!
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post! Go ahead and give me ideas on what to post in the comments! :)
