Another month has gone by and pretty slow I might add but In all honesty, good things happened this month, now, I won't share all of them but just some that were super duper special for me. This past month was the month where I finally committed to finishing the Book of Mosiah, which so happily, I did!
Most of the time I would just skim through some chapters and if you were to ask me what I read on the ones I just read, I wouldn't know what to tell ya, so I started all over again, when I say that, I mean completely, I'm talking Chapter one. I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it, but I tool baby steps, slowly I read a verse everyday, then three-- then an entire chapter, which then lead to reading on and on, all I can say I've learned so much and cannot wait to read on to Alma. If you want me to post about a certain chapter in Mosiah or the books before that, comment what chapter.
I actually wore less makeup this month, for some reason I was a lot more confident with my natural skin, I was looking through some old photos and that's when I saw a picture when I was in Jr. High, my face was so clear! No acne, no acne scars, nothing! My face isn't that bad, but at times it can go good to worse in a matter of days. I probably wore makeup, 5 times in the month of February, its a big deal for me because I used to wear it everyday, even if I just went to the store. It was a must for me.
Two words, Wisdom Teeth. I got those suckers taken care of. I thought I would have been terrified the day I was getting that done but oddly, it went by really fast! Gotta admit, I was pretty disappointed (in a way) that I didn't do anything funny or stupid when I got out of the dentist... Is that weird? If so... I'm pretty weird overall. Anyways part of the reason why I got them out is because I needed to, because it's necessary I suppose and because its part of the dental stuff I have to take care of before I go on my mission. It's almost been a week since I've had them removed and the healing is super slow and It sucks that I can't eat what I want, soups, ice cream and fruit cups have become my best friends. As a matter of fact, I have craved so many different foods, sandwiches, chicken, fries so many - I easily can create a menu of my very own. To be quite honest I thought that it was going to be the scariest thing ever, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be,the dentist I went to was super nice, the entire staff was wonderful. If you're looking to get your wisdom teeth out but don't know where to go, I highly recommend The Wisdom Teeth Guys.
Overall, I'll admit sometimes I wake up to a new day and just go through it without realizing the endless opportunities that are set out before me. This passed month has taught me a lot and I can't wait to see what March has to offer me.
